Students will develop and apply their business and personal finance knowledge in the following core areas: financial responsibility and decision making; income and careers; planning and money management; credit and debt; risk management and insurance; and saving and investing. Students will learn first hand about the stock market, trading stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs and SPDRs through a nationally-competitive online stock market simulation. Students will also be afforded the opportunity to participate in state and national competitions centered on finance and economics.
